Police investigating the death of 15-year-old Jamar Walker, who
died after suffering stab injuries in Smethwick last month, have charged
a 17-year-old youth with his murder.
The 17-year-old from Smethwick, who cannot be identified legally, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with murder as well as a further charge of attempted murder last night.
He will appear before Wolverhampton Youth Court this morning.
Enquiries into the death of Jamar continue, who was found injured in Raglan Road, Smethwick around 2.20am Sunday 20 December 2015.
Jamar was taken to hospital where he died.
A 17-year-old man also suffered a minor stab injury to his lower back and was treated at hospital following the incident.
