Police have been investigating the disorder outside of the ground and a suspect has handed himself in to an east London police station
A 28-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the attack on the Manchester United team bus before Tuesday's Barclays Premier League clash at West Ham .
The suspect handed himself in to an east London police station on Friday and was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
He was bailed to a date in mid-August, pending further inquiries.
Commander BJ Harrington of the Met's Public Order team said: "Behaviour of the kind we saw before Tuesday's match is totally unacceptable. The vast majority of people were well behaved, but we are looking to deal with a small minority of individuals who committed criminal acts.
