Daniel TwoHearts was initially pulled over because of a loud exhaust on his pickup truck.
Daniel TwoHearts, a North Dakota man who kidnapped a baby when he stole a car, was wounded after shooting himself on Friday night. He was the only injured party in the ordeal which began on Thursday (3 February) night.
The chain of events started after a North Dakota state trooperattempted to pull TwoHearts over, due to a loud exhaust on his pickup truck while driving on Interstate 29, near the state border with Minnesota. TwoHearts apparently shot at the intervening state trooper, after attempting to get away during a high-speed chase on the Interstat
