Nnamdi Kanu OYC in talks with FG over release of IPOB leader

The Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) has gone into talks with the Federal Government to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
According to Vanguard Newspapers, the OYC team met with a representative of the Government, the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Solomon Dalong.
According to the National President of OYC, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, his group is out to seek a viable political solution that will put an end to the agitations going on in the South-East.
Vanguard also reports that Isiguzoro, during the meeting with the minister, demanded that the IPOB leader be released unconditionally.
The factional leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB), Mr. Uchenna Madu accused South-East Governors of betraying the Igbo race.
There has been mass protests in most parts of the South-East, calling for the release of Nnanmdi Kanu.
He was reportedly arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) in his hotel room, at the Golden Tulip Essential Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos state.
