POLICE are hunting an inmate who has absconded from HMP Sudbury.
Darren Lee Bittles failed to return to Sudbury open prison following release on temporary leave on December 5.
The 45-year-old was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court to serve three years eight months imprisonment for arson with intent to endanger life.
Bittles is white, 5ft 6ins tall, slim and has hazel eyes.
Officers said he has connections with the Kings Heath and Druids Heath areas of Birmingham.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should not approach him but should call police on 101.
