RE ;10 DOMESTICS SAFETY TIPS FOR CHILDREN

As  we all  know,  home  is the best place  for children to  have their freedom   and  same  place for easy injuries but those injuries can be prevented if proactive  nature are fully put into  place for the children. Below are the area to focus to prevent children from been harm.

(1)    POISONING;

Teach your children about harmful food and chemicals, don’t always buy toxic toys for them

(2) ELECTRICAL   APPLIANCES

 Always monitor  the electrical appliances in  your  house  so that the  children will  not have too  much  access  and  cover all  unused outlet, remove all potential electrical fire hazard wire

(3)KITCHEN

If you can  prevent your  little one from entering your kitchen better but if  you can’t, always  monitor their  movement  as many of  the kitchen equipment can be harmful  like knife ,fork, gas and  other

(4)FIRE ARMS

If  you have a  fire  arm,  please always  hid  it so  the  children will not have  access to it  and  also, don’t  make  joke or inform the  children  that you have fire arm as  they  will  like to see and try to test it  in your absence

(5) CHOKING ITEM

Remove  any little  items that can choke  the  baby at home   like buttons,  coins and other  little items  as  babies always pick things  from  the floor to eat 

(6) GAS COOKER

As  we all  know, gas cooker  have been  source of different fire  incident at home as  it required a  lot of care .therefore, is advisable you prevent your children (underage)  not  to use it  or  get close to  it

(7) HOT WATER

Hot water can be useful but the same time can be very dangerous   because any  pour on the body even to an adult can be hurtful talk of baby’s tender skin

(8)BATHROOM/TOILET

As bathroom/Toilets  is for refreshment and  our  comfort, same room  can  be dangerous  as  many equipment there like toilet  sitter ,scissor razor blade and  other  shape objects  can  be found  there

(9)MEDICINE AND DRUGS

Ensure that you know the drug you are giving to the children is by prescription and likely side effect and report to medical personal if drug react fast

(10)RECREATIONAL AND HOME SPORT GADGET

  While trying to make the children  happy by  buying gadgets and  other  recreational  materials ,ensure they are safe for  use and always  monitor  the parts that  can  be hurtful to the  children
