Woman Stabbed At Art Basel Event

The visitor was allegedly attacked inside the Miami Beach Convention Centre, where celebrities including Katie Holmes and Kylie Jenner were attending an event.
An argument between two women allegedly turned violent, and one of the females suffered stab wounds to the arms and neck.
Art Basel organisers released a statement after the incident, obtained by editors at People.com, which reads, "At 5:20 p.m. a visitor was assaulted by another visitor in the Nova sector of the fair. The attack was an isolated incident that was immediately secured.
"The victim was taken directly to the hospital and according to the Miami Beach Police Department the victim's injuries are non-life threatening. Our thoughts are with the victim."
Artist Naomi Fisher, who was at the art festival at the time of the drama, tells the Miami Herald newspaper, "A guy walked up to me and said, 'I thought I saw a performance, and I thought it was fake blood, but it was real blood'. It's horrible... I'm so freaked out. I feel nauseous."

  • 16-Feb-2016 Search is on for Saudi terrorist in Bahrain Manama : A search is on in Bahrain for a Saudi man, who apparently supplied terrorist organisations here with weapons and ammunition to be used against police, it was revealed yesterday. According to London-based Arabic daily Al Hayat, the individual is wanted in Saudi Arabia and in Bahrain. He is apparently accused of selling rifles and pistols for BD300 and BD500 to a five-membered terrorist cell in Bahrain. The cell was recently busted and its members are facing trial here. The information about the unidentified suspect was unfolded by two brothers, who are members of the Bahraini terrorist cell, during their trial at a local court a few days ago. The report quoted the Saudi Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdulla Al Alshaikh as saying, “There’s ongoing security cooperation between both Kingdoms to nab the suspect, who smuggled weapons to the Bahraini terrorist group from Saudi Arabia.” “Communication is never-ending between Saudi and Bahraini security authorities. Some terrorist members have utilised the geographical proximity and social bonds between both countries to serve their evil purposes,” the ambassador said, reaffirming that information provided by Saudi authorities assisted the Bahraini part in foiling a number of terrorist operations.
