Kevin Kelly, 27, of Luton, Bedfordshire, died this afternoon after he was attacked in Luton town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A man has been arrested on suspicion in connection with the shocking incident.
Police have launched a “major” murder investigation – codenamed “Operation Dubnium”.
