Police said a ‘large disorder’ broke out in Regent Road, Handsworth, at 4.30pm on Sunday, January 3.
The investigation into the shooting was continuing on Monday with the scene cordoned off while forensics teams comb the area for clues.
Three men are believed to have suffered gunshot wounds in Regent Road around 4.30pm on Sunday.
They were taken to hospital with minor injuries, where one remains with an injury to his lower back, although police now say his condition is no longer critical.
The other two, aged 28 and 30, were discharged following treatment for injuries to their feet and have been arrested for public order offences.
