Police operatives attached to the State Criminal Investigation and
Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, Lagos, have commenced
investigation into the death of a female corporal who was hit by a
reckless motorist in Lagos earlier this month.
The deceased identified as Corporal Evelyn Ele-Amuta, was two- month pregnant at the time of her death.
The police corporal was reportedly knocked down on February 6 by a driver she had arrested for flouting traffic laws.
The Nation gathered that her team members rushed her to a nearby
hospital, but doctors at the hospital refused to attend to her due to
lack of police report.
Until her death, Amuta, a mother of one, was attached to the X-Squad of the Lagos State Police Command
