Mother facing life sentence for baby son's murder

A mother who murdered her baby son months before she went on to kill her young daughter is facing life behind bars.
Lesley Dunford, 37, was charged in October last year over the death of seven-month-old Harley Dunford on August 27 2003.
He was found dead in his cot at the family's former seaside home in Camber, near Hastings.
The defendant's three-year-old daughter Lucy died six months after Harley, on February 2 2004.
In June 2012, Dunford was jailed for seven years for Lucy's manslaughter after Lewes Crown Court heard the child died from asphyxia caused by forced blockage of her airways.Dunford, formerly of Windermere Close, Exeter, has twice pleaded guilty to Harley's murder, having changed her mind only to change it back.
