Two Sunderland men charged with attempted robbery

Two Sunderland men have now been charged over an attempted armed robbery on Hylton Road.

Following the incident at the Ford Post Office on Tuesday.

They are George Tumilty, 31, of Flodden Road was remanded in custody and Kevin Jarvis, 45 of Garfield Street was released on bail.

The duo are to appeared at Newcastle Crown Court next month.
