NABBED: Zamfara Police Arrest Suspected Hired Killers Abba Kabara

The Zamfara Police Command has arrested three persons in Birnin Magaji local government area of the state suspected to be hired assassins in their attempt to gun down a young man whom they alleged to have bewitched their friend.
According to the command’s public relations officer, DSP Sanusi Amiru, the suspected assassins, Nabala Abdullahi, Jamilu Aliyu and Hamisu Mamuda, are members of the unauthorised local volunteer vigilante group.
He disclosed that the suspects were hired by the brother of the young man who allegedly fell sick after being bewitched by their target victim (name withheld), and were instructed to shoot down the man if he refused to cross over the sick person as a necessary measure to ensure his recovery from the illness.
DSP Amiru said items recovered from the suspects include two locally made pistols, and assorted types of charms.
Similarly, the PPRO disclosed that his command has succeeded in arresting one Yahaya Abdullahi of Talata Mafara town in his attempt to vandalise a solar panel with intent to steal.
He said exhibits recovered from the suspect include 60 pieces of solar panel, one solar battery and two solar bulbs, adding that all the suspects will soon be charged to court after the police investigations.
